You might be living with kidney stones and not even know it. Many people live with kidney stones and are symptom-free. But when you start having sharp pain deep in your back or your side, you may need a kidney stone ultrasound to help diagnose the problem. From the ultrasound images, a radiologist can clearly see the stones – which show up as white spots.
