MRI Patients: How Subspecialized Radiologists Make a Difference
When you go to get an MRI, you’ll probably never meet your radiologist. A technologist takes you through the exam and your doctor takes it from there. But in between collecting the images and delivering them to the doctor is a behind-the-scenes radiologist who looks at the pictures and interprets them. But not all radiologists are created equal.
This video explains the difference between a General Diagnostic Radiologist and a Subspecialized Radiologist. Watch it before you book your MRI appointment and know what you’re getting from your provider.
At our centers in Massachusetts, our board-certified, subspecialized radiologists will review your images and write a report for your provider.
