Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI) and Methodist Health System Announce a Joint Venture Partnership

posted on TUE, OCT 7 2014 by Center for Diagnostic Imaging

Minneapolis, MN and Dallas, TX – October 7, 2014 – Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI) and Methodist Health System together announce a strategic joint venture partnership to help improve lives through access to quality medical imaging services in outpatient imaging centers throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth (D/FW) region.

“Methodist Health System has been serving the North Texas region since 1927 and Center for Diagnostic Imaging has a 30-year history of working with physician and health system partners to deliver high-quality medical imaging care throughout the U.S.,” states Rick Long, president and COO, CDI. “We’re excited to bring together two organizations with such a rich history of patient-focused care and a shared commitment to drive quality improvements in health care.”

For CDI, the partnership reflects the organization’s vision of being the recognized leader in providing high-quality medical imaging and related services, in partnership with physicians and hospitals, to best meet the needs of the local communities it serves.

“As an outpatient imaging partner, we’re able to deliver excellent medical imaging care at more affordable prices for our patients,” notes Robert LaDouceur, D/FW Regional Vice President, CDI. “Consumerism in health care is driving higher quality care at better costs and with easier access. We strongly encourage patients to be engaged, evaluate their options and decide on where to go for care based on their personal needs.”

“Through this collaboration with CDI, patients of Methodist will have easy access to a trusted, outpatient imaging option but often closer to their home and work,” states Stephen L. Mansfield, PhD, FACHE, president and CEO, Methodist Health System. “The Methodist mission is to improve and save lives through compassionate quality health care. We firmly believe our association with CDI supports and strengthens this calling.”
