A More Comfortable MRI Experience with the High-field Open MRI

Does an MRI machine make you think of being “stuffed into a tube”? You are not alone. Those are the exact words of one CDI patient who came to get the images she needed on a High-field Open MRI machine. The Open MRI is an alternative that is a better fit for bariatric patients, broad-shouldered men, and people who are claustrophobic.

After trying to get her MRI in a traditional machine, Kari Howry knew she needed an alternative. She could not comfortably fit into the scanners offered at other imaging centers.
