At CDI’s convenient outpatient location in St. Louis Park, MN, we offer a broad range of medical imaging and related services, including High-field 3T and 1.5T MRI, Open Upright MRI, CT, Ultrasound, CDI Vascular Care, CDI Pain Care and more. Our compassionate staff is happy to serve you and there is plenty of free parking right in front of the building outside our door.
3T MRI technology provides ultra-clear images and is great for certain brain studies, vascular imaging and for visualizing tiny bones in the hands and feet. 3T MRI allows us to provide accurate diagnoses to the most complex cases in a convenient outpatient setting.
Our High-field MRI captures high-quality, clear images. The technologists who operate the scanner are certified in MRI and will stay in constant communication with you throughout your scan.
An Open Upright MRI scanner is a great option for patients who are claustrophobic, cannot lie down due to pain or whose size prevents them from being evaluated in a traditional MRI scanner. The technologists who operate the scanner are certified in MRI and will stay in constant communication with you throughout your scan. Nothing is in front of your face during the scan and you can watch TV during most exams.
An extremely fast scan, CT captures incredibly detailed images of your organs and vascular system, as well as your abdomen and bones. The CT program at CDI is driven by our commitment to patient safety. We’re focused on capturing the highest quality images with the least amount of radiation.
Our goal is to understand the cause of your pain and determine a solution for long-term relief. The CDI Pain Care team will make this easy for you by coordinating any care you may need with our network of specialists throughout the Twin Cities.
Experience the difference at CDI Vascular Care.
Using new approaches to complicated vascular problems, we take the time to understand your condition and develop a treatment plan that is specifically designed for you. Services range from cosmetic varicose and spider vein treatments to complex revascularization procedures. Learn more about CDI Vascular Care.
PET/CT imaging at CDI can detect early stages of a disease, including cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. A PET/CT exam can also show changes in your body during the early stages of a disease. At this time, PET/CT is one of the most powerful tools in cancer diagnosis and staging. It can also provide important information about neurological conditions, such as Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.

Regenerative Medicine enables the body to speed up its natural healing process by renewing tissues -- boosting your body’s ability to heal itself with help from your own cells and growth factors. These non-surgical treatments are used to treat various orthopedic injuries, including tendon, joint, osteoarthritic conditions and other soft tissue injuries. CDI offers two types of Regenerative injection procedures:
Ultrasound bounces high-frequency sound waves off parts of the body and captures the returning “echoes” as images. There is no radiation exposure or injections with this exam.
Family history, health history and other factors can put you at higher risk of developing breast cancer. Each patient is unique and requires an individualized treatment path. Patients have access to a full continuum of screening and diagnostic breast imaging care through our breast imaging centers and extended network of additional imaging centers in the Twin Cities.
X-ray exams at CDI are quick and convenient. We can often work patients in the same-day, but in order to make your experience as positive as possible we ask that you please call ahead to verify insurance and wait times.
Nuclear Medicine excels at showing how your organs are functioning. This can be critical in looking at the thyroid, heart, stomach and kidneys. Nuclear medicine can often identify abnormalities early in the progression of a disease, when a more successful treatment may be possible.
Osteoporosis is a thinning of the bones which causes the bones to become fragile and more likely to break. If diagnosed early, there are treatments available to slow down bone loss and to treat osteoporosis. A Bone Mineral Density test at CDI measures your bone mineral density at your hip and spine which shows your doctor if you have osteopenia or osteoporosis.
