Our High-field MRI captures high-quality, clear images. The technologists who operate the scanner are certified in MRI and will stay in constant communication with you throughout your scan.

An annual screening mammogram is recommended for women beginning at age of 40, according to the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the Society of Breast Imaging (SBI). Ultrasound bounces high-frequency sound waves off parts of the body and captures the returning “echoes” as images. There is no radiation exposure or injections with this exam.
X-ray exams at SSM Imaging are quick and convenient. We are able to work patients in same-day in many cases but request a call ahead to verify insurance and wait times in order to make your experience as positive as possible.
A breast biopsy or aspiration biopsy is used to obtain small samples of tissue or cells to evaluate for abnormal cells or cancer. Our radiologists use image-guidance, which could include: Ultrasound or Stereotactic (X-ray), during the biopsy to ensure accuracy.
A DXA bone density exam detects low bone mass and monitors the effects of bone mass therapy for patients with osteoporosis. Our technologists who perform this exam are not only very experienced, but patient and caring.
