Our High-field MRI at CDI Lakewood is a “short-bore” scanner. This is open on both ends and offers feet-first exams for nearly all MRI procedures, keeping your head out of the scanner. It also sits low-to-the-floor to easily get on and off the MRI table. The technologists who operate the scanner are certified in MRI and will stay in constant communication with you throughout your scan.
An extremely fast scan, CT captures incredibly detailed images of your organs and vascular system, as well as your abdomen and bones. The CT program at Puget Sound CDI is driven by our commitment to patient safety. We’re focused on capturing the highest quality images with the least amount of radiation.
Pain can interrupt your life. Puget Sound CDI offers cost-effective options to better analyze and treat back and joint pain. Our doctors specialize in medical imaging to diagnose pain, and in procedures to treat its root cause, all in our relaxed and comfortable outpatient imaging center.
Regenerative Medicine enables the body to speed up its natural healing process by renewing tissues -- boosting your body’s ability to heal itself with help from your own cells and growth factors. These non-surgical treatments are used to treat various orthopedic injuries, including tendon, joint, osteoarthritic conditions and other soft tissue injuries. CDI offers two types of Regenerative injection procedures:
Ultrasound bounces high-frequency sound waves off parts of the body and captures the returning “echoes” as images. There is no radiation exposure or injections with this exam.
X-ray exams at Lakewood are quick and convenient. We are able to work patients in same-day in many cases but request a call ahead to verify insurance and wait times in order to make your experience as positive as possible.
A QCT bone scan is a fast, non-invasive bone mineral density exam that uses CT to detect low bone mass and monitor the effects of bone mass therapy for patients with osteoporosis.
Biopsies help gather more information on a lump or mass, or other abnormal condition in the body. These procedures are performed on-site by our medical doctors.
