Cardiac MRI

Cardiac MRI is a diagnostic tool that utilizes magnetic resonance imaging (MRI or MR) – one of the safest, most comfortable imaging techniques available – to create multi-dimensional images of your beating heart. Cardiac MRI allows our Cardiologist to quickly examine the structures and function of the heart and major vessels, without the risks and costs associated with traditional, more invasive procedures, such as coronary angiography.

Cardiac MRI helps:

  • Evaluate the structures and function of the heart, valves and major vessels.
  • Diagnose and manage coronary heart disease and other cardiovascular problems.
  • Detect and evaluate coronary artery disease.
  • Plan a patient’s treatment for cardiovascular problems and monitor patient's progress.
