High-field, Wide-bore MRI

High-field, Wide-bore MRI Tech and Patient

Our High-field MRI is wider than a traditional scanner, giving you extra space for added comfort while capturing high-quality, clear images. The technologists who operate the scanner are certified in MRI and will stay in constant communication with you throughout your scan.

CT equipment

An extremely fast scan, CT captures incredibly detailed images of your organs and vascular system, as well as your abdomen and bones. The CT program at CDI is driven by our commitment to patient safety. We’re focused on capturing the highest quality images with the least amount of radiation.

Injections for Pain

C-arm technology

Pain can interrupt your life. CDI offers cost-effective options to better analyze and treat back and joint pain. Our doctors specialize in medical imaging to diagnose pain, and in procedures to treat its root cause, all in our relaxed and comfortable outpatient imaging center.

Bone Density

A DXA bone scan is the most commonly used exam that uses X-ray to measure bone mineral density in the hip and spine.

A QCT bone scan is a fast, non-invasive bone mineral density exam that uses CT to detect low bone mass and monitor the effects of bone mass therapy for patients with osteoporosis.

Nuclear Medicine

Nuclear Medicine Technology

Nuclear Medicine excels at showing how your organs are functioning. This can be critical in looking at the thyroid, heart, stomach and kidneys. Nuclear medicine can often identify abnormalities early in the progression of a disease, when a more successful treatment may be possible.

Ultrasound technologist and patient

Ultrasound bounces high-frequency sound waves off parts of the body and captures the returning “echoes” as images. There is no radiation exposure or injections with this exam.

X-ray Technology

X-ray exams at CDI Carmel are quick and convenient. We are able to work you in same-day in many cases but request you call ahead to verify insurance and wait times in order to make your experience as positive as possible.
