High-field Open MRI

High-field Open MRI

Our High-field Open MRI captures high-quality images and offers the comfort of a truly open scanner. The spacious design is ideal for claustrophobic, anxious and larger patients.

CT

16-slice low-dose CT

An extremely fast scan, CT captures incredibly detailed images of your organs and vascular system, as well as your abdomen and bones. The CT program at Methodist CDI at Richardson is driven by our commitment to patient safety. We’re focused on capturing the highest quality images in the safest way by using special radiation dose reduction software. What’s more, we offer sinus and chest CT scans on a walk-in basis, so your provider can send you right over.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound

Ultrasound bounces high-frequency sound waves off parts of the body and captures the returning “echoes” as images. There is no radiation exposure or injections with this exam. Our highly skilled technologists will perform your exam in our comfortable, outpatient setting.

X-ray

X-ray exams at Methodist CDI are quick and convenient. We are even able to work patients in the same day, in most cases.

Arthrograms and Myelograms

An arthrogram is an examination of a joint, such as a shoulder, hip or wrist, to help identify the source of pain. A myelogram, on the other hand, is a diagnostic test to examine the spinal cord and identify the cause of back pain.

Methodist Center for Diagnostic Imaging centers are operated by Methodist CDI, a Texas non-profit corporation, and are staffed by independently practicing physicians who are contracted by Methodist CDI. The physicians and staff who provide services at the imaging centers are not employees or agents of Methodist Health System or any of its affiliated hospitals.
