High-field MRI

High-field MRI

Our High-field MRI captures high-quality, clear images. The experienced technologists who operate the scanner are certified in MRI and will stay in constant communication with you throughout your scan.

16-slice low-dose CT

An extremely fast scan, CT captures incredibly detailed images of your organs and vascular system, as well as your abdomen and bones. Our CT program is driven by our commitment to patient safety. We’re focused on capturing the highest quality images in the safest way by using special radiation dose reduction software.

Ultrasound bounces high-frequency sound waves off parts of the body and captures the returning “echoes” as images. There is no radiation exposure or injections with this exam. Our highly skilled technologists will perform your exam in our comfortable, outpatient setting.

Mammography is a safe, low-dose X-ray of the breast that allows for early detection of breast cancer. An annual screening mammogram is recommended for women beginning at age of 40, according to the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the Society of Breast Imaging (SBI). The American Cancer Society also recommends that women have the choice to begin mammography screening at age 40. For the complete, updated ACS guidelines, click here. An order from your medical provider is not necessary to schedule a screening mammogram.

UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization)

Uterine fibroid embolization (UFE) is a non-surgical procedure to treat pelvic pain from fibroids. It is an alternative to a hysterectomy.

Bone Density

bone density

A bone density (DXA) exam detects low bone mass and monitors the effects of bone mass therapy for patients with osteoporosis. Our technologists who perform this exam are not only experienced, but patient and caring.

Arthrograms and Myelograms

An arthrogram is an examination of a joint, such as a shoulder, hip or wrist, to help identify the source of pain. A myelogram, on the other hand, is a diagnostic test to examine the spinal cord and identify the cause of back pain.

X-ray exams at CDI are quick and convenient. We are even able to work patients in same-day, in most cases.

Center for Diagnostic Imaging centers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area are operated by Methodist CDI, a Texas non-profit corporation, and are staffed by independently practicing physicians who are contracted by Methodist CDI. The physicians and staff who provide services at the imaging centers are not employees or agents of Methodist Health System or any of its affiliated hospitals.
