High-field MRI

High-field MRI

Our High-field MRI captures high-quality, clear images. The technologists who operate the scanner are certified in MRI and will stay in constant communication with you throughout your scan.

CT

CT

An extremely fast scan, CT captures incredibly detailed images of your organs and vascular system, as well as your abdomen and bones. The CT program at Alexandria CDI is driven by our commitment to patient safety. We’re focused on capturing the highest quality images with the least amount of radiation.

Injections for Pain

Injections for Pain

Pain can interrupt your life. Alexandria CDI offers cost-effective options to better analyze and treat back and joint pain. Our doctors specialize in medical imaging to diagnose pain, and in procedures to treat its root cause, all in our relaxed and comfortable outpatient imaging center.

Breast Biopsies and Interventional Procedures

Breast Biopsies

A breast biopsy or aspiration biopsy is used to obtain small samples of tissue or cells to evaluate for abnormal cells or cancer. Our radiologists use image-guidance, which could include: Ultrasound or Stereotactic (X-ray), during the biopsy to ensure accuracy.

Digital Mammography

Digital Mammography

Mammography is a safe, low-dose X-ray picture of the breast that allows early detection of breast cancer. An annual screening mammogram is recommended for women beginning at age 40, according to the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the Society of Breast Imaging (SBI). The American Cancer Society also recommends that women have the choice to begin mammography screening at age 40. For the complete, updated ACS guidelines, click here. Learn more about:

Nuclear Medicine

Nuclear Medicine

Nuclear Medicine excels at showing how your organs are functioning. This can be critical in looking at the thyroid, heart, stomach and kidneys. Nuclear medicine can often identify abnormalities early in the progression of a disease, when a more successful treatment may be possible.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound

Ultrasound bounces high-frequency sound waves off parts of the body and captures the returning “echoes” as images. There is no radiation exposure or injections with this exam.

X-ray

X-ray

X-ray exams at Alexandria CDI are quick and convenient. We are able to work patients in same-day in many cases, but we do request a call-ahead to verify insurance and wait times in order to make your experience as positive as possible.
